The King George Lunch Bunch Needs Your Help

The Summer Lunch Bunch is preparing for its seventh summer of feeding hungry children in King George County, and we need your help! During the school year, roughly one third of elementary school aged children receive free or reduced meals, subsidized by the USDA. When school closes for the summer, so ends these meals. The Summer Lunch Bunch helps bridge this nutritional gap, helping families stretch their available food dollars. This helps these children return in the fall for a new school year in a better position to resume learning.

The Summer Lunch Bunch needs volunteers (your help, your time, your commitment), donations (goods and funds) and your prayers. Last year more than 5000 lunches were distributed to children in King George County and the hope is to do even more this summer. Be part of this worthwhile mission right here in your community.
